The new Chemball|CSB ball valve from ChemValve® impresses with interesting design advantages compared to conventional PFA-lined ball valves with regard to its new TrueFloat® Technology: The single-piece PFA lining sourrounds a flexible, metallic connection between ball and stem. Advantage: No PFA abrasion between stem & ball, the one-piece shaft-ball combination with floating bearing of the ball ensures highest tightness, safety and durability when handling critical media. Another development step is the possibility of implementing a second set of chevron seals, which means that the probability of leakage tends towards zero. In addition, if required, a so-called “leak detection port” can be ordered between the two sealing packages in order to detect any escaping media in advance before they can escape into the atmosphere. Other quality features include: full bore for optimised flow, conical groove anchoring of the PFA lining, blow-out proof shaft, labyrinth seals between both body halves and a bayonet lock on the head flange for a rust and vibration free connection to the body.
